Manuel Tozzi

Manuel Tozzi (born 1994 in Salzburg, Austria) lives and works in Berlin. He is an emerging visual artist working with time-based media to create drawings, computer-generated animations and installations.
With various graphics software and motion capture he animates not only human looking beings but also things, artefacts and objects, giving them their own anthropomorphic ability to act.

In 2020 Tozzi received a Scholarship from the Summer Academy Salzburg and a Scholarship for Media Art from the Austrian Federal Ministry. For the video work U20Y24 he collaborated with the Berlin based fashion label Studio UY. The work was exhibited at the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, Swiss in 2019. The multi-channel video installation SOLARIS was premiered at the Tech Open Air conference in Berlin. Tozzi is a member of the Association for Contemporary Art with New Media in Berlin.
