Manuel Tozzi (born 1994 in Salzburg, Austria) lives and works in Berlin. He is a visual artist, using time-based media to create computer animations, kinetic sculptures and drawings. In his sculptures and drawings, he merges traditional visual languages with the digital space to explore new visual codes and hybrid aesthetics.
In 2020 Tozzi received a Scholarship from the Summer Academy Salzburg and a Scholarship for Media Art from the Austrian Federal Ministry. For the video work U20Y24 he collaborated with the Berlin based fashion label Studio UY. The work was exhibited at the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, Switzerland in 2019. The multi-channel video installation SOLARIS was premiered at the Tech Open Air conference in Berlin. Tozzi is a member of the Association for Contemporary Art with New Media in Berlin.
